Planning for
the Future:
Wills and Trusts

Plan Ahead

Supporting Those Who May Be Vulnerable

We understand how important it is to plan ahead and make sure your loved ones are cared for. Wills and Trusts can play a vital role in protecting your wishes and supporting those who may be vulnerable.

At the moment, The Friendly Trust does not offer will or trust writing services directly, as we don’t yet have staff with the specialist legal training required to handle these matters securely and accurately.

What
We’re Doing to
Change That

We’re actively working to expand our services so we can offer trusted support in this area. Here’s what we’re doing:

  • Training our team: We’re identifying the right qualifications and supporting staff who want to develop expertise in wills and trusts
  • Partnering with professionals: We’re exploring collaborations with qualified legal experts to offer referrals or joint services
  • Creating helpful resources: We’re developing clear, reliable information to help you understand estate planning and make informed decisions

In the Meantime

While we build our capacity, we encourage you to explore trusted sources for advice and support:

  • Citizens Advice – Free, confidential advice on legal and financial matters
  • Law Society of England and Wales – Find qualified solicitors near you
  • Law Society of Scotland – Directory of legal professionals in Scotland
  • StepChange Debt Charity – Free advice on managing debt and planning for the future

We’re Here
to Help

If you have questions or want to talk about planning for the future — especially if you care for someone who may be vulnerable — please get in touch. We’ll do our best to guide you and keep you updated as our services grow.

Your Support Helps Us Make a Real Difference.
