YOU!!!!
The generosity of members of the public who support our work and fundraise on our behalf, really makes a difference.
We are always very pleased to hear from anyone who would like to discuss their fundraising ideas with us, and are extremely grateful to those who make donations, or plan their own fundraising activity.
To have an informal chat about fundraising opportunities, please get in touch using the Contact Form, or if you want to set up your own fundraising page please visit https://mydonate.bt.com/event/start.html?charityId=191619
Huge thanks to all the lovely people who support us in other ways, by donating money, time, or anything else.
All of your generosity helps us to help others!
Lloyds Bank Foundation.
We have great news!
The foundation has decided to fund our project for a further two years. This will allow us to go on helping vulnerable people who are going through a transition in their lives.
A big thank you to Lloyds Bank Foundation from all of us! We can’t wait to continue on into year 3 of the project…
Cardiff Council
The Friendly Trust was formed in 1998 following concerns by parents of people with learning disabilities for the financial futures of their sons and daughters, once they would no longer be able to care for them.
With financial support from Cardiff County Council, the Friendly Trust was established in July 1998 as a company limited by guarantee and achieved charitable status in November 2000.
Cardiff Council continues to provide funding to help us support vulnerable people across Cardiff and we are grateful for all their support.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council
They have provided funding for The Friendly Trust to work with people with learning disabilities and unpaid carers in the Vale of Glamorgan for a number of years.
We are very grateful to them for all of their support.
Torfaen County Borough Council
Funding from Torfaen County Borough Council has allowed us to increase our reach, and therefore help even more vulnerable people to achieve positive outcomes with their finances.
We look forward to continuing our work in the area.
The Santander Foundation
Our Peer Workshops Project has been a great success so far!
We’ve had some fantastic feedback from our workshop attendees and our Peer Support Volunteers are AMAZING!!!
We can’t wait to tell you all more in the New Year.
People’s Postcode Trust
We are thrilled to announce that we’ve received additional funding from People’s Postcode Trust to enhance our Peer Workshops Project.
This will enable us to hold an additional 3 workshop and has been made possible by a grant from People’s Postcode Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
